JPRD tells upcoming programs

The Jefferson park and recreation department is accepting registrations for two programs that start soon.

Dog obedience classes will meet Tuesdays, Feb. 25 through April 8, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the Greene County Community Center.  Linn Price, LVT, will teach the most modern methods of motivated training.  Dogs are taught to sit, heel, and come when called.  Class size is limited.

A short indoor soccer season will begin March 3 and end March 24. The program will help boys and girls in grades 3-8 improve their game and learn a different style of soccer.  The program will meet  Monday evenings at the Greene County Community Center, with third through fifth grades playing from 6:30 to 7:15 pm and sixth through eighth graders from 7:15 to 8:15.  The class will be led by Marilyn Tasler. Interested players should register by Feb. 21.
